This is an amazing way to experience nature in interaction with animals. Get up close and personal with the pointed ears, happy eyes, smiley faces, and wagging tails of our Siberian Huskies.

Once everything is ready, we´ll set off for a tour in beautiful Arctic landscape. The guide will always lead the first team, and the rest will follow through the trail out in the terrain. There will be several breaks along the way, to take in the view while we let the dogs rest and make sure they´re enjoying the tour while keeping hydrated. The carts are solid, with proper breaks, and equipped with a seat on the front. Two people on each cart. You will have a chance to switch who is musher (driver) and passenger about halfway. The guide will gladly take photos of you with your dog team as a reminder of your wonderful Arctic adventure. Children can sit in the front while a parent or the guide, steer the waggon. Smaller children can sit in the front together with an adult

The adventure is finished up with a hot beverage and some snack, around out fire place in the dog yard.

Hiking with huskies

Nature in Finnmark is amazing, all around. We like to enjoy this nature also by foot, and now you can reach new hights of hiking fun with a four-legged tour buddy!

The fresh arctic air will clear your mind and charge your batteries as we move around in nature.

The trip starts up in our dog yard, where we meet the pack. We find the dogs that are going on the hike with us, harness them, and prepare our self. They are well trained sled dogs, and you will most likely appreciate having someone to share the dog with.

The destination of the hike will be adjusted to the guests desires and capacities, and the weather and conditions. The guide can tell you about Finnmark, about the area we are in, and how it is to live with, and train, a pack of Siberian Huskies. We will have a fire and enjoy some hot beverage and a snack.

Kayak in Europe's northernmost archipelago Porsangerfjorden

The Arctic Archipelago of Porsangerfjorden is actually the fourth longest fjord in all of Norway, and could have been made for kayaking, a place where beginners and advanced kayakers alike can experience fantastic nature from where it can be appreciated best: on the water

Kayaking is a great way to experience the arctic. Many are tempted by the chance to glide silently through the water and enjoy the magnificent nature in a peaceful manner.

The fjord is filled with small islands, islets, and reefs, and on our guided tour we will see the famous Reinøya, a protected area with unique flora and geological formations.

Experienced kayakers will love this fantastic landscape and the endless variation, while beginners will appreciate the many protected little inlets where they can learn to paddle safely.

The trip starts in a calm inlet in Børselva. Here the instructor runs through some basic techniques to make everyone safe in their kayaks. It also gives the instructor the chance to get an impression of the body control and strength of the members of the group and can choose a route accordingly.

For a group of beginners, the instructor will make sure that the first part of the trip will be entirely on calm, sheltered waters. Only towards the end of the trip, when people feel safer and more confident, will the group head out on more open waters.

We have experienced instructors used to communicating with novices. If a kayak overturns, they will come right up to get the kayaker back in the kayak. In case you’re wondering – the famous ‘eskimo roll’ is not required for kayaking in the archipelago in Norway. And people do not overturn that often anyway, and with good help from the instructor in getting back up, the kayaker has a great story for the dinner table back home.

Local knowledge is vital for safety, so you should only come here with a local guide.

Included: Kayak, warm and modern dry suite, life jacket, experienced guide, snack, and a hot beverage.

Start: 15:00
Duration: 4 hours
