Immerse yourself in the deep bond between humans and animals as you explore the pristine wilderness and the magical winter lights this far north. You’ll learn the art of dog sledding and how to handle sled dogs.
You will sleep in a gamme tent, heated and on a field bed, in the arctic wilderness, or by the dogs in the dog yard. We provide all the necessary training to ensure you’re fully prepared for this unforgettable adventure.
Day 1: Arrive at Lakselv Airport and transfer to our family-run kennel, where we will welcome you into our family with our dogs. The first evening, we will go for a short sled ride in the area nearby to get a taste of dog sledding, getting to know the equipment and the dogs you will have on your team. Overnight in a nearby facility.
Day 2-4: The following day, we'll meet at the kennel to feed the dogs their breakfast and ensure everything is packed and ready. Two and two participants will be assigned their own team of dogs to drive and care for. We will sled through forest and over the mountain, on frozen lakes, and perhaps even down to the arctic fjord. Our main goal is to head north, where you'll be treated to breathtaking views and an authentic Arctic experience. We will have all meals out in the wild, prepped in a traditional manner, as the locals enjoy on their mountain adventures. After two and a half days on the trail, we'll return to the kennel in the afternoon to unpack and enjoy one final dinner together. Last night is in a nearby facility.
Day 5: After breakfast, you'll be transferred back to Lakselv Airport for your departure.

Enjoy a short sled ride in the nearby area to experience dog sledding firsthand, familiarize yourself with the equipment, and bond with your team. Dinner will be served in your comfortable accommodation.
Day 2 – 4: We are ready to go out and about, as we explore the Arctic wilderness by dogsled. Each day, we'll tailor the expedition to suit the weather conditions and the needs of participants, ensuring a personalized and unforgettable experience. We try to divide one kid and one parent/adult on each sled, one can also go with the guide. The kids will also get to try out if they want, when the tracks are safe and conditions good. They will also learn to care for a team of dogs and see how valuable the bond between dogs and humans can be. On the last day we will head back to the kennel, unpack, and enjoy a final dinner together with your guides. Overnight on a comfortable accommodation.
Day 5: After breakfast, you'll be transferred back to Lakselv Airport for your departure.
You will have your own team of dogs to drive and take care of. One child can come as a passenger per adult (+ 1 with the guide). The kids will be actively involved in all the expedition, learning about dog care, dog sledding, winter camping and life in the arctic.

You will learn not only dogsledding and how to become a team with the dogs, but also adapting to the arctic nature and elements, working with them instead of against them. Overnights can be from one location, or different from night to night, depending on the conditions. Local food and traditions on the whole trip. On the last day, we head back to the kennel, unpack, and enjoy one final dinner together with your guides, and a night in comfortable accommodations.
Day 6: After breakfast, transfer back to Lakselv Airport for your departure.

Join us on an unforgettable kayaking adventure combined with an overnight camping experience on Reinøya island. This tour takes you through stunning landscapes and serene waters, where you can truly appreciate the beauty of Arctic nature. Porsangerfjord where we go to paddle is the European continents northernmost archipelago with a lot of small islands, and a belt of dolomite rocks crossing the fjord making it a geological high point.
The adventure begins in Børselv, where you’ll enjoy a restful night in our cozy lodge, ensuring you're well-rested and ready for the exciting kayaking journey ahead.
During this kayaking trip, we will paddle approximately 8-10 km along the scenic river, surrounded by lush greenery and fascinating rock formations. We'll take breaks to enjoy the stunning surroundings and have a picnic lunch close to the water.
After a day of exploration, we'll set up camp on Reinøya, where you can relax under the sky and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Norwegian wilderness, as well as interesting rock formation in dolomite.
The next day, we'll return to Børselv, where you'll spend an additional night at our lodge before departure.

Whether you're seeking an enriching hike or looking for a route to explore the unique landscapes of Porsanger, our guide will take you on an unforgettable journey through our beautiful mountains, with a night under the Norwegian sky.
Your adventure begins with an overnight stay in our historic lodge in Børselv. After a restful night, we’ll set off to explore the surrounding nature. Your guide will share insights about the flora, fauna, and breathtaking landscapes of our area. We will also bring a pack dog from our pack of Huskies as company, and perhaps you want to bring one too?
At the end of the day, we'll set up the tent and enjoy a delicious local food dinner, before spending the night outdoors in the heart of the Arctic.
The next morning, we’ll return to Børselv, where you will spend an additional night in our lodge before departing, included a dinner with your guide.
The trip is also adapted to families, and kids used to hiking is welcome to join. We adapt the tour to the group, weather and conditions.
It’s also possible to combine the tour with a visit to our Husky kennel, and if the conditions are right, might try dogsledding on wheels.
